Together in Support of Our Military

We are excited to announce that two great Military Support charities, Operation Gratitude and Operation Homefront have joined forces in a mission to support our Military, their families and our wounded warriors through the Pepsi Refresh Challenge.

Stay tuned for additional details on how to vote for this one of a kind partnership to win both a $250,000 grant and a $50,000 grant to meet the needs of our Military families and deployed troops this holiday season. That is $300,000 at stake for our Military and YOU can make the difference!

Voting opens October 1, 2010. We will NEED YOUR HELP to win!

Plan to vote online & by text every day through the month of October. Email info@operationgratitude.com for Voting Details and to set up Daily Reminders.*

In the meantime, there are three things you can do right now:
1. Get Ready and Get Registered: You can vote using all your email addresses on the Pepsi site and all your accounts on Facebook. Go to the Pepsi Refresh site, click on “Browse Ideas and Vote,” then click on “Join Refresh Everything” in the lower left corner, and register all your emails one by one, so when the voting opens, you can start voting immediately.

2. Learn more about both organizations by visiting: www.OperationGratitude.com and www.OperationHomefront.net.

3. Forward this email to your entire Address Book and urge everyone you know to join our team and support our Troops!

About Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude annually sends 200,000+ care packages to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits, Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home. Each package is filled with food, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, as well as personal letters of support. Our mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for civilians anywhere in America to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation. Each package contains donated product valued between $45 and $100 and costs our organization $15 to assemble and ship. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 1.6 Million Care Packages.
