2018 Halloween Candy for Heroes!

Happy Halloween PicWe are excited to work with you again this year to collect and donate sweet treats for our Deployed Troops and First Responders. Did you know that last year we received and distributed a record-setting 533,891 pounds of candy? Together, let’s break that record again this year!

When you’re ready to send your candy, click here to complete your Donor Form to include with your packages and receive our shipping address.

If you represent a school, club, company, dentist or group that would like to host a candy collection drive, check back for the link to register for more information.

Rgistered Operation Gratitude Candy Collectors will receive Halloween Candy GIVE-Back promotional materials, helpful instructions, a customizable press release, and shipping information.

In the meantime, if you have additional questions regarding your Halloween Candy event, please send an email to kelly@operationgratitude.com.

When the time comes to donate candy, you’ll be able to use your zip code to search for a participating drop-off site near you!

About Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude annually sends 200,000+ care packages to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits, Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home. Each package is filled with food, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, as well as personal letters of support. Our mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for civilians anywhere in America to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation. Each package contains donated product valued between $45 and $100 and costs our organization $15 to assemble and ship. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 1.6 Million Care Packages.

I see the form on here is set up as if you hadn’t collected yet. Should I just fill it in with the dates that I collected and submit and just be sure to get you the candy before the date you list? Thank you! Parents and children embraced it and we will separate it and package to get out to you.

    • Thank you, Denise! We are grateful for your support. We made November 15 the cut-off date to allow us time to sort and distribute all the candy we receive. Perhaps you can find a local troop support organization, VA clinic or veterans retirement home that would like to receive your donations?
