Just wanted to tell you how excited Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Aspen is to be helping our Troops enjoy a bit of the sweetness of life. Our annual “Fudge for Troops” campaign is starting soon and we hope to sned even more Fresh Handmade Fudge to you this year than we did last year. I cannot financially afford a new truck right now, but I can support our troops. I was a Dodge man until Ford never took any of the government money. As a veteran, I appreciate my freedoms. How about you?

I come from a “Ford Family”. Many of my family member have or do work for the company. I live in heart of Henry Ford’s birthplace. Hearing about this program makes me really proud to know that the company supports the troops.

I mailed my donation of my collection of Beanie Babies and other stuffed toys off. I figured I didn’t need them sitting around in the closet. It was time for them to serve a greater purpose. All 70 of them are off to serve our enlisted. I’ve never felt better heading off to the post office in my life!!!

This is an excellent opportunity to talk to your children about helping others by donating some of their small stuffed animals to deployed troops. Josie recently went through her collection and we have a box of animals waiting to be sent. Seize the moment and put those unused stuffed animals to good work!
