Thanks to Cinnabon and its generous customers, $50,000 was donated to Operation Gratitude to help support deployed troops, wounded warriors and military children! THANK YOU so very much! Read about more wonderful donations here.

For the second year in a row, Cinnabon is partnering with Operation Gratitude to help raise money to send “Hugs from Home” care packages to our deployed heroes overseas.

October 1 through 31, Cinnabon fans can support this heart-warming cause by making donations at participating bakeries. For every $1.00 contribution, they will receive a $1.00 “Cinnabuck” valid on their next visit.

Cinnabon patrons can also use their cell phones to support the troops. For every Foursquare check-in to a bakery, Cinnabon will make a $1.00 donation to Operation Gratitude, for a maximum donation of $10,000.

“We are proud to spread the warmth of our baked goods to our guests throughout the year,” said Kat Cole, Cinnabon president. “It’s important for us to serve those who serve others, so we wanted to send our troops some sweet memories of home during the holiday season.”

About Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000 care packages filled with snacks, toiletries, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in harm's way, to their Children left behind, and to Veterans, Wounded Warriors and First responders. Our mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member's face and express to our our Military and their families the appreciation and support of the American people. Operation Gratitude receives the names of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines from commanders in the field who see the positive impact of care packages on their troops' morale. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. For safety and security, assembling of packages occurs at the Army National Guard armory in Van Nuys, California. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped more than 900,000 packages to American Military and their families.

Contratulations and kudos to Cinnabon! We need more organizations to get behind the support, regardless of ideology and realize that our troops sacrifice. We also need more to unite us-not divide us!
